What is a PPEC?
PPEC stands for Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care. Kool Kids offers a stimulating, social, and nurturing alternative health care choice to families and children with medically-complex conditions to receive continual medical care in a non-residential setting.
We offer services that meet the recipient's physiological, developmental, nutritional, and social needs. These services provide a less restrictive, cost-effective alternative to expensive hospitalization. It reduces the isolation and/or home-bound programs, helping each child to achieve the highest quality of life possible.
Kool Kids is licensed by ACHA and meets all local, county, and state regulations. We provide up to 12 hours per day of Nursing care 7 days a week for children from birth to 21 years old. Individual care is provided by qualified multi-lingual and multi-cultural pediatric nurses and aides along with onsite Physical, Occupational, Speech, ABA, and Respiratory therapists.
